Happy Wednesday, I am so sorry I did not get a post up last week. Some of you may already have thought about getting a debit card or may already have one. Have you thought about what it means to have a debit card in your name. There is a lot of responsibility that goes along with having a debit card. One reason you may have a card is if you are traveling and your parents are not going to be with you. If this is the case you want to write down the contact number off the back of the card in case it gets stolen. You also want to know what the card number is, but you do not want to keep it in the same place as the card itself. Another thing to remember is to keep all your receipts until the transaction has cleared your account in case the wrong amount comes out. You might also want to think about what else you can use until you get the card replaced, as in cash or another card. How many of you currently use a debit card and have thought about what you would do if it got stolen? You should always have a back up plan in place.
